Engineering Controls: Dust levels in excess of appropriate exposure limits should be reduced by all feasible engineering controls, including (but not limited to) wet suppression, ventilation, process enclosure, and enclosed employee workstations.

Personal Protective Equipment

Eye / Face Protection: Approved Safety Glasses with side shields.

Hand Protection: Any type of glove that reduces skin contact with the material is acceptable.

Skin / Body Protection: No special clothing required. Use suitable protection considering the work environment and exposure risk.

Respiratory Protection: Use a compliant particulate respirator when dust levels exceed or are likely to exceed regulatory limits. Equipment should conform to the appropriate standard for protection against airborne particulates, such as NIOSH N95 or EN149:2001.

Hygiene Measures: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practices. Care should be given to avoid dust generation.
